1. UNZIPPING: Unzip the scenario files into your Atomic Eagle Part 1 scenario folder. Unzip the sound files into the 
Sound folder. In the scenario zip there are some sound files. They need to stay there! Do not move them into the 
sound folder. There is also a WinXP zip. Use those files at your discretion if the regular Atomic.bat file will not 
work on your WinXP OS. Please read the WinXP Readme.

2. BAT FILES: There is one BAT file that switches the files around in the scenario folder if you are using Win98 and 
below. Follow the directions and always load the chapters in order. See the WinXP zip for WinXP info on BAT files.
If all else fails visit www.apolyton.net/forums and ask how to fix any problems with the BAT files.

3. CREDITS: The majority of the graphics work included in this scenario are by myself, but a few of the graphics are from or have 
been altered from the likes of these great scenario designers: Curt Sibling, Fairline, Nemo, DannyEvilCat, Jimmywax, and 
a few others who I have forgotten to name. If I forgot to give you credit for your fine artwork please drop me a line
on apolyton and thump my head against a brick wall a few times (not joking). I definately have to point out that the 
title screen is a Curt Sibling original I asked him to make real. Thank you Enemy Ace. 

The map is my own creation, made from a national geographic map using MapEdit, a fine Mercator product. Also, CivCity was
used extensively in the creation process. 

Another mention goes out to Rmsharpe who has been a great help editing out global warming. Thanks for putting up with 
my idiocy. 

To all the others who have given their support at Apolyton and Civfanatics, I thank you. 

4. PLOT: The plot of the game can be found at:

5. GAMEPLAY: Like any other game part of the scenario is "build, research, conquer". The first part of the game is squad 
based with no city building whatsoever. Also, you will not be able to engage in diplomacy. There are various "goodies" 
throughout the game that will reward you in some way, so be alert for those. Also, this game has extensive event driven 
plot lines that should be at least glanced at to find out what you are supposed to accomplish. Just play the game and 
you'll get the picture.

6. SOUND: Yep, you guessed it, I borrowed some professional work in some places. The amazing orchestra sounds you hear
in the game are the work of the London Symphony orchestra for the movie Reign of Fire. The score was composed and 
conducted by Edward Shearmur exclusively for the movie. I use his work without permission and only do so knowing that I 
will never ask money for his fine work or expect to be compensated in anyway from using his work. Oh yeah, go see the 
movie, it was nice. 

The other sound effects were gleamed straight off the internet and were given away freely. I used BlazeAudio: RIPEDITBURN
to mix the sounds. It can be found at Tucows.com and has a 30 day trial period before you need to pay $40.00. I have to 
say it is a quality program.

7. END: Included with this scenario is the mini ending scenario entitled SS Assault Force. Play the squad based scenario
to truly finish the game.

8. INSTRUCTIONS: Throughout the game there will be instructions given to you. FOLLOW THEM! or you may miss the fun parts of 
the game and mess up the files!

9. DISCLAIMER: In no way does this scenario attempt to belittle the efforts of those soldiers who fought in WW2 or any other
conflict before or thereafter. This scenario was not made to glorify the Nazi regime or the terrible acts it committed. In short, 
it's a game. Besides, Parts 2 and 3 are playable as the Americans and British. They will tend to kick Nazi ass...
